We built BleibHaus because we lived the chaos.
A small team based in Amberg, Germany — built for students, expats and newcomers who deserve a real home, not a runaround.
BleibHaus started with a simple frustration: moving to Germany should not feel like a second job. We had friends sleeping on couches for weeks, paying brokers more than a month's rent, signing contracts they couldn't read, and discovering only later that the address wasn't even registerable for Anmeldung.
So we built the app we wished existed on day one. Bilingual. Direct to the landlord. No fees. Anmeldung status shown upfront. Made by people who've been the newcomer.
What we believe
- Housing is a right, not a maze. Clarity should be the default.
- No platform should charge you to message another human.
- Anmeldung-possible or not — say it on the listing, in plain language.
- English and German are equal first-class citizens.
Who it's for
Students arriving for their first semester. Engineers relocating for a job. Researchers, nurses, artists, families — anyone who needs a real address in Germany without spending three months and three thousand euros to get one.
